Plasma Pen Treatment
Rejuvenate Your Skin with Advanced Technology
At our clinic, our skilled and certified aesthetician uses the Plasma Pen, an innovative device that delivers non-invasive fibroblast therapy. This treatment utilizes cutting-edge technology to effectively tighten, lift, resurface, and rejuvenate virtually any area of the skin. By targeting fibroblasts – the key cells responsible for collagen production – the Plasma Pen enhances skin firmness, elasticity, and overall texture.

How Does the Plasma Pen Work?
The Plasma Pen works by converting electrical energy into energized gas (diatomic molecular nitrogen). This gas is directed towards the skin’s surface in a non-contact manner, creating a micro-trauma in the epidermal layer while simultaneously inducing thermal heat that affects the deeper dermal structures. This process, known as fibroblasting, stimulates fibroblasts within the dermis – the skin’s underlying layer – which are essential for collagen and protein production.
Which Areas Can Be Treated with the Plasma Pen?
The Plasma Pen treatment is suitable for various areas of the body, but it delivers exceptional results for delicate regions such as the face and neck. It effectively addresses concerns such as sagging skin, fine lines, and skin texture, making it an ideal solution for skin rejuvenation.
When Will I See Results?
Immediate tightening effects can be seen after a Plasma Pen treatment, with noticeable improvements continuing to develop over the following three months. However, the procedure is not a replacement for surgery in cases of moderate to severe skin laxity, where surgery may be necessary to achieve desired results. Multiple sessions may be required to reach optimal results, depending on your skin’s specific needs.
Is Plasma Pen Treatment Painful?
Most clients experience mild to moderate discomfort during the Plasma Pen procedure. Pain tolerance varies from person to person, and certain areas may be more sensitive. To enhance comfort, a numbing cream is applied before treatment to minimize any discomfort.
What Is the Expected Downtime After Plasma Pen Treatment?
Post-treatment downtime typically lasts around 8 days for the face and neck, while areas on the body may require 10 to 14 days to fully heal. Swelling usually begins the day after treatment, peaking around day 3, and then subsiding as the scabs form. Scabs usually begin to fall off around days 6 or 7, especially in facial and neck areas.
Please note, healing times can vary based on individual factors, such as following aftercare instructions. To ensure the best possible results, it’s important to avoid alcohol, smoking, and picking at the treated areas during recovery. Any health concerns can also impact the healing process and the outcome of the treatment.
